In our continued education efforts, CalRamic Techologies presents our Ceramic Material Designations application note, AN109-4.  Based on U.S. Government Standards, this application note is one of the most important to help power supply engineers understand the dielectric choices offered in our catalog.  Focused on Class I, II and III capacitors, we help you decide on the capacitor that is best suited for your design and application.  There are vast differences in Class I - NPO type materials in relation to Class II -  X7R type materials.
