CalRamic
Technologies LLC is proud to participate on the ESA Solar Orbiter Project. Our High Voltage Ceramic Capacitors will be used in
will be the PHI-Polarmetric and Helio-seismic Imager developed by the Max Plank
Institute in Germany. The mission is set to launch in 2017 from Cape Canaveral and
expected to operate for 3.5 years while gaining valuable knowledge about our local star, the Sun.
This
fall Jeff Day, President/Chief Technical Officer of CalRamic Technologies
visited The Max Plank Institute in Germany during the same period parts were
delivered. Jeff is shown standing in front of the Rosetta-Philae Lander that was due to land a week later on the Comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko .
